However, I haven't seen many people make acrylic nails to make a nail bar. The basic idea is that the acrylic nails are placed onto an acrylic substrate where there is a strong, high amount of water (you need less in order for a stronger nail to bind to the acrylic substrate, and less pressure on the base). The base can become extremely shallow for a nail base without adding much.

As you can see in the picture above, there is no problem with acrylic nails. What can be expected is that acrylic nails don't bind to a base either. The acrylic supports allow for increased resistance to the water, which is also important to ensure you don't over-contort the base.

Finally, acrylic nails do appear to have a protective coating for long life in a dry and/or sandy environment with dry areas. However, it's very important to keep in mind that many times a single polish won't keep against a nail base (see the pictures below).

The most important difference between acrylic and acrylic paint is that acrylic paints are stronger and are therefore more durable. However, it should be noted that at home, acrylic paint doesn't require any maintenance or installation, there is no need to worry about having all three sets of acrylic nails on for all my clients.
